Using the CT Core Knowledge and Competency Framework for Early Childhood Professionals: Reflection and Professional Growth

This two part series on the CKCs provides common language regarding the knowledge and competencies most important for the early childhood profession in CT to know and be able to do in their role working with children and families. Learn how to utilize the document as a framework for reflecting on your knowledge, skills, and disposition as a way to highlight your strengths and become aware of opportunities for growth. The sessions support a process of intentional and continuous reflection that will help participants focus on identified priorities and create an Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP) for personal and professional learning
This training is for individuals working directly with young children and families and program administrators who support those in direct service. Participants are asked to bring a laptop computer or iPad if available.
